The following is a chart produced using the powerful summary
features of ExportWiz. Summary features allow you to gather statistics
on your data and collate a summarized report.
It can Categorize, count, sum or get median and
other statistical values.
Summary data is simple to chart. All modifications to
the chart display and layout can be made directly in Excel.
Example 1 - Summary - Categorize using summary
features available in the field dialog box
A special date filter was used to display last months statistics
each time the report is run. Another option could be to make ExportWiz
prompt you for a date range each time the report is run.
Please note: The summary option is found at the bottom
of the field selection dialog box.
Example 2 - Standard report and chart

Example 3: The sample report below pulls out
information from a standard (not modified notes calendar) and creates an
invoice based on data entered. Uses the professional version formula
features
Example 3: The chart below was created from
summary information created in ExportWiz from example medical case data.
The number of cases of each disease is automatically counted and the
revenue from each treatment of that disease is summed to produce the
data on which the chart is based. These summary options are set
in field option when the field is chosen or modified.
This data could further be summarized (categorized) by
Month or Year or week etc. Or a prompt filter option chosen so each time
the report is run it gives the user the ability to select the required
date range or other criteria.
The chart itself is defined and can be modified
directly in Excel. It is automatically updated to match the data when
you run the next report.
